Itinerary:

DAY 1: Toronto to Ottawa, Ontario

Join us as we travel eastward to Ottawa, our Nation’s Capital. Upon arrival we have a tour of the city of Ottawa followed by a Welcome Dinner and get together. (D)

DAY 2: Quebec City, Quebec

From Ottawa we travel to Chez Dany’s, where we enjoy a Lumberjack’s Feast of traditional dishes. Then on to Quebec City for a tour of

the only walled city in North America. (B,L)

DAY 3: Bathurst, New Brunswick

Today as we leave the Province of Quebec and enter New Brunswick, we take time to visit the Atlantic Salmon Lodge. A guide will explain how avid fisherman travel from all over the world to fish the rivers of Atlantic Canada. Our overnight stop is at Bathurst. (B)

DAY 4: Charlottetown, P.E.I.

This morning we find ourselves on the Acadian Coast of New Brunswick, and here we visit Acadian Historical Village, for a look at this lively culture. At Cape Tormentine we journey to Prince Edward Island via the

famous “fixed link” bridge. Continue to Charlottetown for our overnight stay and an included Lobster Dinner. (B,D)

DAY 5: Charlottetown, P.E.I.

As P.E.I. is one of Canada’s prettiest provinces, we have planned a free day here, for you to enjoy your own time in downtown Charlottetown OR follow the optional suggestions of your Tour Director. (B)

DAY 6: Iles de la Madeline, Quebec

A casual morning as we travel to Montague, enjoying the scenic countryside and small

farms along the way. Here we board a Wildlife Boat Cruise to learn about and view Seals and a variety of sea birds, which make P.E.I. their summer home. Then we continue to Souris, P.E.I., where we will board the afternoon ferry to the Magdalen Islands. The crossing will take approximately 5 hours. Comprised of about twelve islands, Iles de la Madeleine is located in the middle of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, but is actually only 100 km in total length. The ferry will arrive into Cap aux Meules and here you will discover a beautiful Maritime setting of small villages, miles of amazing beaches and very friendly people that trace their roots to Acadian origins. We check into our hotel for a three night stay. (B)

DAY 7: Iles de la Madeleine, Quebec

Today we have arranged a guided tour to the western islands of Ile du Cap aux Meules and Ile du Havre Aubert. This will help orient you to all of the restaurants and shops that are within an easy walk of the Ship’s dock and provide a unique first look at the culture of Iles de la Madeleine. Lunch is included as part of the day tour. (B,L)

DAY 8: Iles de la Madeleine, Quebec

Our scheduled day tour today will take us to the eastern islands, passing many terrific

Sand Dunes along the way. We will tour Lighthouses, the Salt Mine Interpretative centre, the Herring Smoke House Museum and more. Be sure to have your camera ready as we will view some dramatic Sand Stone cliffs that make for terrific pictures. (B,L)

DAY 9: Moncton, New Brunswick

This morning the ferry leaves at 8:00 a.m. and we sail across the Gulf of St. Lawrence to P.E.I. Then we see more of the beautiful P.E.I. countryside as we make our way back to the Confederation Bridge. Tonight we are in charming Moncton, New Brunswick. Here your Tour Director will discuss the Peticodiac River and the unique effects of the Tidal Bore, caused by the rising Bay of Fundy tides. (B)

DAY 10: Edmundston, New Brunswick

An ever changing scenery today, as we leave the Forested regions around Moncton, pass through the rural farmlands of the Woodstock area, follow the Saint John river for a distance

and pass a number of “kissing bridges” including the famous Hartland Covered Bridge, the world’s longest. Enroute, we will take time to visit Kings Landing Historical Settlement, a chance to view early Maritime lifestyles. (B)

DAY 11: Montreal, Quebec

A relaxing morning stroll through the flowers at the New Brunswick Botanical Gardens of Edmundston, before we board the motor coach and make our way along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, to Montreal for our final night together. Tonight a fabulous dinner together in the Old Port of Montreal. (B,D)

DAY 12: Home

Our final day together with our new friends from the tour. Share some stories and exchange addresses, before we reach your joining points and bid you farewell. (B)
